Registered Nurse - Orthopedics/General Surgery - PRN - Days

• Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document of patients and family.
• Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
• Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

Contingent Option II:
Clinical Resources Department contingents that report directly to a House Manager, Clinical Resources Department. Meets all accountabilities of a Registered Nurse. (Refer to Job Description, Registered Nurse, F02426).

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED:

• Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Previous 1.5-2 years recent related clinical nursing experience and a demonstrated level of performance and practice required.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES

REQUIRED:

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.

BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
