Position OverviewIn this role, you will work closely with our veterinarians and support staff to provide medical, surgical, and preventive care services. This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced position where your technical abilities and compassion will make a meaningful impact every day.
Key Responsibilities- Assist veterinarians during patient exams, diagnostics, and surgeries
- Monitor anesthesia and ensure patient safety throughout surgical procedures
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations
- Collect laboratory samples and perform in‑house testing
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient medical records
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners regarding care instructions and follow-up
- Support daily clinic operations and maintain a clean, well‑organized work environment
Current LVT license in the state of Michigan (or eligibility for licensure)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Solid time management and organizational abilities
A positive attitude and willingness to continue growing professionally
