Job DescriptionMake a meaningful difference in the lives of K12 students by stepping into a School Psychologist role for the upcoming academic year. This full-time, onsite contract offers you the chance to support and empower learners at every grade level, helping to create positive outcomes for students and their families. You’ll work within a collaborative school setting, delivering essential psychological services and partnering with educators and other support staff.
Key Qualifications &
Experience:
- Hold an active Michigan Psychological License
- Experience working as a School Psychologist or Social Worker in educational settings
- Ability to expertly assess and support the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of children across K12
- Strong communication skills for engagement with students, staff, and families
- Familiarity with implementing intervention strategies and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Committed to culturally responsive and inclusive practices
Position Highlights &
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve the school year, 35 hours per week, onsite within an energetic school environment
- Engage with a diverse K12 caseload, providing comprehensive screenings, assessments, and counseling
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to facilitate student learning and well-being
- Contribute to multidisciplinary teams and guide best practices for academic and behavioral interventions
- Support crisis response, consult on MTSS/RTI, and help with functional behavioral assessments
