Applies expertise to perform a variety of non‑clinical administrative support tasks, including:
- Scheduling, coordination, and follow‑up tasks for meetings, events, and professional travel;
- Managing calendars;
- Preparing documents and presentation materials;
- Processing invoices and reimbursements;
- Composing and/or transcribing correspondence and documents;
- Supporting departmental projects and activities;
- Creating and maintaining websites, webpages, databases, spreadsheets, and social media accounts;
- Answering telephones and providing related follow‑through.
The role requires strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; a commitment to quality and excellence; confidentiality; and professionalism. Proficient use of computer hardware and software, telecommunication, and other office equipment is essential.
QualificationsRequirements include:
- High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two years’ experience in an administrative support role; OR
- One‑year degree/diploma in an administrative, business, or medical‑related program with at least one year of experience; OR
- Associate’s degree in an administrative, business, or medical‑related program.
Administrative support experience must include meeting management and calendar coordination, creating/transcribing correspondence and documents, and use of business software to produce databases, spreadsheets, presentations, etc. Other essential skills: organization, customer service, professionalism, interpersonal relations, written and oral communication, prioritization, decision‑making, judgment, confidentiality, attention to detail, and follow‑through. Experience with travel and expense management is required. Proficient English grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure.
Prefer recent work‑related experience within the last ten years. Notary Public Certification is required.
Compensation range: $20.00 – $24.29 per hour.

ScheduleFull Time;
Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑4:30 pm; 80 hours per pay period.

Jacksonville, Florida; and Rochester, Minnesota, as well as Mayo Clinic Health System campuses throughout the Midwest and at our international locations.
