Role Overview

Media Core is hiring a Content Creator / Marketing Hybrid to own our brand‑facing content and help drive inbound leads through consistent, high‑quality storytelling.

This role blends content creation, marketing execution, and brand building. You’ll be responsible for creating and managing video‑first content that builds awareness, trust, and demand for Media Core.

This is a long‑term role for someone who wants to grow with the company, take ownership, and help build something meaningful.

Primary Goals

• Drive inbound leads through strategic content
• Build trust and brand awareness for Media Core
• Educate businesses on how video is used to sell, hire, and grow
• Entertain and humanize the brand through personality‑driven content
• Build Josh’s personal brand as a credible voice in video and business

Key Responsibilities Content Creation & Video Production

• Own the weekly Media Core vlog from filming through publishing
• Film, edit, and publish long‑form and short‑form video content
• Create short‑form content for You Tube Shorts, Instagram Reels, Tik Tok, and Facebook
• Capture behind‑the‑scenes footage, educational content, and personality‑driven content
• Create educational and thought leadership content

Channel & Platform Management

Manage and publish content across:

• You Tube
• Instagram
• Facebook
• Linked In
• Tik Tok
• Create thumbnails, titles, descriptions, tags, and basic SEO optimization
• Ensure content is published consistently and on time

Brand & Marketing Support

• Create monthly newsletters through Mailchimp and nurture campaigns in Hub Spot
• Capture photo and video content from events, sponsor ships, and community involvement
• Create client‑facing media “care packages” using BTS footage, reels, and photos
• Collaborate on light graphic design needs such as thumbnails and sales assets

Collaboration & Production Support

• Occasionally assist the production team as a second shooter or editor
• Capture behind‑the‑scenes footage on client shoots

Growth & Innovation

• Stay current on content, platform, and industry trends
• Proactively bring new ideas to the table
• Help explore community collaborations and partnerships

Role Details & Compensation

• Full‑time, in‑office position, M‑F (Minimal weekends if needed)
• Starting salary: $50,000 - $55,000/year
• Expectation: 45-50 hours per week
