ResponsibilitiesAs a Primary Care Pediatrician at Mayo Clinic, you will have immediate access to consultation and collaboration with pediatric subspecialists to provide the best possible care to your patients every day. You will join a 25‑physician practice and 13 advanced practice providers within the Division of Community Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine (CPAM). The division serves 40,000 infants, children, and adolescents in the greater Rochester area with team‑based care and population health.
Your duties include direct patient care, medical student and resident education, precepting, and supervising a 3‑year pediatric residency. You will also participate in research, quality improvement, and education initiatives. Successful candidates will demonstrate expertise or interest in a specialized area of pediatric practice.
Candidates must be board‑certified or board‑eligible in pediatric medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics and possess a MN license (or be able to obtain it prior to starting). Applicants are invited to apply online by submitting a CV and letter of interest.
Compensation DetailThe minimum starting salary for primary care specialties may range from $213,250 to $300,363. Pay will vary based on specialty, experience, FTE, internal equity, or external market data.
