Overview
This position is anticipated to last 18 - 24 months to support the City of Rochester's implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning software. This role is contingent upon the availability of allocated funds, as well as favorable performance by the incumbent. ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Director of Corporate Services, the Controller will lead all day-to-day operations of the Finance Department, including:
- Budget development and analysis
- Accounting for investments
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Billing and collections
- General ledger accounting and reporting
- Relationship management with banks and other vendors
- Regulatory accounting and reporting
- Rate analysis and implementation
- Audit preparation
