Responsibilities

Massage therapists will evaluate, develop plans of care, deliver massage therapeutic interventions, conduct reevaluations, and educate patients referred by physicians or allied health practitioners. Work closely with patients, families, and a physician‑led team in outpatient or hospital settings.

Qualifications

• Nationally certified through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB).​
• Certification from a state‑approved school of therapeutic massage with at least 500 hours of training.
• At least three years experience as a massage therapist, preferably in a health‑care delivery system.
• Completion of a hospital‑based massage therapy training program preferred.
• Ability to perform safe and effective massage therapy requiring visual assessment skills, verbal, written, and auditory communication, fine‑motor function, and coordination.
• Ability to assimilate complex objective and subjective data and make clinical judgments.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Compliance with all city, state, and national certification requirements.

Compensation Detail

Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity. Salary range: $31.79 – $47.71 per hour.

Monday through Saturday within operating hours of the area assigned, up to 10 shifts of 4–10 hours per pay period as business needs determine. Schedules released quarterly.
