By choosing to work in Nuclear Medicine at Mayo Clinic, you will work alongside a large team of highly experienced CNMT’s, Physicians, Radio chemists, and a Nuclear Pharmacist to deliver exceptional care to your patients. You have opportunities to work with and/or produce novel radiopharmaceuticals and image on cutting edge scanners including PET/MRI, long bore PET/CT, and CZT SPECT/CT. In addition to a large fleet of scanners, we have a robust equipment maintenance and physics team supporting these systems to minimize down-time and let you serve your patients.
Our department houses a significant radiopharmaceutical production operation, including two on-site cyclotrons and a dedicated nuclear pharmacy to provide on-demand radiopharmaceuticals. Seeing is believing, and through a multidisciplinary theranostic approach to care, we not only produce high quality diagnostic images but also deliver life changing radiotherapeutics within our Comprehensive Radiopharmaceutical Therapy Center of Excellence. QualificationsMust have a bachelor's degree in a related field and be a graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program.
Must be board certified in nuclear medicine technology and maintain current licensure.
Demonstrate flexibility in response to varying workloads required.
License or Certification
Must be registered as a certified nuclear medicine technologist (CNMT) with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and maintain current licensure.
