Job Description

The EEG Technologist functions in the neurodiagnostic laboratories performing electroencephalography (EEG), Evoked Potentials, Autonomic, and/or Nerve Conduction Studies.

The technologists are responsible for complete and accurate patient preparation, data acquisition, providing a safe testing environment, and must demonstrate minimum competency, skill, and knowledge in neurodiagnostic procedural testing in the area of hire.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED. Graduate of an accredited institution for neurodiagnostic technology OR
• 2 years equivalent neurodiagnostic tech experience.
• BLS card

Preferred Qualifications

• Must obtain lab specific certification within 2 years of hire.
• R.EEG.T or R. CLTM.T
• 10-20 Hookups
• 10-10 Hookups
• Preferred 1 year experience with LTM
• EPIC experience
• SPECT experience
• Other: MEG experience, Neuromodulation experience
