This role involves working in an inpatient acute care setting, with a focus on cognitive assessments using tools such as MoCA, SLUMS, and CPT. The position offers a dynamic work environment with structured group sessions and one-on-one interactions.

Key Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist

• Prepare and lead at least 2 structured groups a day
• Conduct one-on-one sessions as needed
• Perform cognitive testing when ordered (MoCA, SLUMS, CPT)
• Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation
• Engage in active listening and effective communication
• Apply activity analysis/adaptation and psychological knowledge

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist

• Active OTR/L license
• Experience in a behavioral therapy setting
• Experience with cognitive performance testing:
  MoCA, SLUMS, CPT
• Active BLS certification from the AHA
• Proficiency with EPIC charting
