Auto Body Painter Assistant

Rochester Collision Center, part of Rochester Motor Cars Family, is currently looking for a full-time Painter Assistant for our fast-paced Collision Center. The ideal candidate should be able to multi-task and have the willingness to learn and adapt. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the Collision Repair world. This is an entry-level position.

$16.00 - $25.00 per hour

• Buffing any imperfections out of the freshly painted panels to ensure the best-looking product for our guest
• Prepping and masking vehicles to get it ready for the paint booth
• Keeping the Paint Department and Buffing area Clean
• Unloading and Loading the paint booths
• Priming repair area after body repairs are complete

• High school diploma or equivalent required (technical degree preferred)
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to learn new technology and procedures
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Attention to detail
• Valid state driver’s license & ability to be insured through RMC liability insurance required

• Dual-Action Sander

• Be able to lift 50lb by yourself and team lift 100lbs
• Operate hand tools and machinery
• Working in a loud environment “safety gear is provided”
