Our Rochester, MN location is part of our Applied Health and Nutrition Division, specializing in fermented ingredients for the bio-science industry. We’re proud of our clean-label, natural products and our commitment to freshness and quality.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 to $34.00 per hour. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. • 12 Hour Shifts every other weekend you get three days off! 4:45 pm to 5:15 am

• Performs tank and piping connections for spray dryers assuring connections for drying products on R3 dryer and for holding tanks, assures connections for CIP of dryers.
• Performs CIP of spray dryers, dryer holding tanks and line circuits following selection of CIP cycle on FIX screen following established procedure for recipe, cycles and chemicals.
• Operates spray dryers which include startup and operation of the R3 dryer, floor scales, pumps, motors, chart recorders, and instruments. Monitors and record processing data.
• Uses established process descriptions and job analysis information for control use of propane or natural gas and powder conveying fans and lines.
• Operates computer systems including FIX operator interface, Quality system, and Excel for tracking historical trends, CIP system, Dryer recipe selection, Works with SAP from start to finish of the spray dryer batches.
• Washes and cleans equipment per the sanitation manual. Follows GMP program and rules.

Assist other production operators as time/shift allows.

High school diploma or GED.

None required. Six months to one year experience in a food manufacturing environment desirable

Must have the ability to work alone and in close cooperation with production personnel. Capable of working through complex problems alone or with others to provide logical solutions.

Ability to bend, stand, stoop, twist, turn, do repetitive motion, and lift up to 50 lbs. continuously throughout a shift
