Join Mayo Clinic in Rochester to work in one of the largest and most advanced imaging centers in North America. You will be part of a fast‑paced, high‑acuity environment supporting 15 imaging locations, including a dedicated pediatric practice. Your role involves sedation and monitoring for a wide range of imaging procedures, caring for patients across all ages and acuity levels while working alongside skilled peers and physician partners in a highly autonomous setting guided by evidence‑based practice and teamwork.

Responsibilities
  • Provide sedation and monitoring for imaging procedures.
  • Coordinate nursing care for patients across all ages and acuity levels.
  • Work autonomously with skills guidance from the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model.
  • Participate in leadership activities such as preceptor roles, informal and formal leadership opportunities, and quality improvement projects.
  • Delegate patient care according to skill level, experience, patient acuity, resource availability, and fiscal accountability.
  • Deliver patient and family education and facilitate transitions of care.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of a nursing program recognized by ACEN, CCNE, or NLN CNEA.
  • One year of RN experience required.
  • Current RN license applicable to the state of practice.
  • ACLS certification required; BLS must be valid for 90 days after the start date.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working in a team environment and with electronic medical record systems.
  • Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations and work flexible hours.
  • Demonstrated leadership and critical‑thinking skills.
  • Additional specialty certification/training may be required by the work area.

Schedule
