Clinical Requirements

•

Experience:

1 year PCU/Stepdown (Telemetry required)

• Patient Ratios:
- Days: 1:4
- Nights: 1:4–5

• Floating:
Yes (ICU and/or Med-Surg within skillset)

•

Certifications:

- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (Required)

• NY RN License:
Active NY Single State License required (Non-Compact)
Skills Needed

• Telemetry & cardiac monitoring

• Dysrhythmia interpretation & management

• Rapid Response / Code Teams

• Cardiac drips (no titration)

• Oxygen therapy & non-invasive airway management

• Central & peripheral line care

• Blood product administration

• IV therapy / Phlebotomy

• Isolation precautions
Scheduling Details

• Weekend Requirement:
Every other weekend

• Holidays:
Every other holiday if needed

• RTO:
Up to 2 requests (must submit with profile)

• Client Call-Off Policy:
Up to 3 shifts per 13 weeks

• Orientation: 16 hours
