Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified OB/GYN RN in Worthington, Minnesota, 56187!

Registered Nurse – OB/GYN

Worthington, MN | Acute Care

Contract | Nights | 8- or 12-hour shifts | Weekends required (2 out of 3 weekends; weekend shifts run Friday/Saturday/Sunday)

• Provide care across OB triage, labor and delivery, postpartum, well-newborn, and special care nursery settings, including IV therapy, antibiotics, and short-term respiratory support (CPAP or O2)
• Care for GYN surgical patients as part of the Women's Center department
• Interpret fetal monitor strips using OBIX with central monitoring; attend vaginal deliveries and provide immediate newborn care and resuscitation
• Document patient care using EPIC electronic charting and manage medications via Acudose dispensing cabinet
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:2–3 mom/baby couplets, 1:2 early labor, 1:1 active labor, and 1:3 post-op
• Float to the General Medical unit when OB census is low

• Active RN licensure
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of OB nursing experience, including fetal monitor strip interpretation and attendance at vaginal deliveries
• Must live within 80 miles of the facility to be eligible for local placement consideration

• Experience with EPIC electronic health records
• Familiarity with OBIX fetal monitoring systems
• Experience in special care nursery settings including CPAP and oxygen support
• Experience caring for GYN surgical patients

• Work within a structured Women's Center on a 12-bed unit with consistent staffing standards, including a minimum of 2 OB-trained staff in house at all times
• Hospital-washed scrubs are provided, and a structured orientation program supports your transition onto the unit
