Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Technician
Job DescriptionJoin our dynamic Cell Kinetics lab where we focus on testing for leukemia and lymphoma using blood, bone marrow, and tissue specimens. Our laboratory operates in an 'assembly line' format, ensuring efficient and precise processing of samples.
Responsibilities- Perform pipetting, aliquotting, centrifuging, and add chemicals to isolate white blood cells.
- Stain white blood cells with antibodies.
- Operate flow cytometers to analyze stained cells.
- Proficiency in laboratory and medical laboratory testing.
- Experience in instrumentation and troubleshooting.
- Strong background in chemistry and biology.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a human biological science such as Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Animal Science, Marine Biology, or Neuroscience.
- Experience with flow cytometry or cell sorting is a plus.
- Candidates with OPT are welcome.
The laboratory is renowned for its cutting‑edge research and state‑of‑the‑art facilities, providing a nurturing environment for innovation and scientific discovery. You will work Tu‑Sa in 8‑hour shifts with start times between 7am and 8:30am, dependent on the scheduled bench. The lab fosters a friendly, helpful, and community‑based culture with social events organized by a dedicated Social Committee. Join a team of around 40 colleagues, mostly aged 22‑33, making it easy to form friendships.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, MN.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00‑$25.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
