Overview
Research Associate - Lab Medicine & Pathology. A temporary transitional role designed to allow qualified individuals to work within an established investigator's program in preparation for an academic and/or independent research career. The role may involve patient/research subject contact directly relating to and incidental to the original research program, after appropriate approvals.
Responsibilities- Provide leadership support and training within an established research program.
- Engage in clinical-based or laboratory-based research with advanced knowledge applicable to the program.
- Contribute to scientific accomplishments and peer-reviewed publications, with expectations of ongoing scholarly output.
- Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in a field relevant to the program.
- At least three years of postdoctoral research experience, with evidence of publications and scientific accomplishments.
