Job SummaryResponsible for prospecting and running Global Payments Point of Sale presentations both in person and over the phone to small and mid‑sized merchants, restaurateurs, and businesses to close deals within a fast sales cycle. As a Software Relationship Manager (SRM) you report to a District Manager and receive coaching from a Director.
Job DutiesYour role as an SRM is to close sales of our business solutions with merchants throughout the area. You will work closely with your local District Manager to set appointments with business owners in person via your network and referral partnerships that you build. You will then run scheduled appointments, uncover needs, and present Global Payments Point of Sale solutions to close sales in small to mid‑sized businesses.
During the training period, your District Manager will accompany you on initial appointments to train you on our short‑cycle sales process using our CRM platforms Atlas and Salesforce, used for lead generation, sales presentations, on‑spot client financial analysis, and paperless contract processing.
- Prospect new clients.
- Maintain existing/prospective client records in the CRM system (currently Atlas) in accordance with company policies, including call notes, scheduled client interactions, contact information, and other relevant client information.
- Achieve minimum production requirements, including setting first‑time appointments, to secure quota.
- Continuously build and develop knowledge of current product/service portfolio as well as changes and developments within the financial technology industry to remain up‑to‑date.
- Attend weekly team meetings and one‑on‑one meetings with your leader.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

- Knowledge of Restaurant and/or Retail industry is a plus.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Must have a valid driver's license, as the position requires regular driving to visit client sites.
- A background check will be conducted after a conditional offer of employment in accordance with state law.
- Completion of mandatory drug screening on or near the 60th day of employment.
- Live in the area relative to the job posting location.
- Must be able to be in the field a minimum of 75% of the time.

Base Salary: $40,000. Residual income and monthly/quarterly bonuses based on exceeding quota and achieving sales goals. Annual On‑Target Earnings (OTE): $100,000+ (depending on skills, performance, and location).
