Position Overview – Employee Benefits Sales Producer – Employee Benefits Client Advisor

World’s Client Advisors bring risk management solutions to businesses and individuals. Your primary focus is identifying, prospecting, cultivating, and closing new commercial clients (small, medium, large) leveraging World’s unique niche. While your focus is selling commercial lines risk solutions, you also are empowered to help clients with personal lines insurance, employee benefits, 401(k) and related retirement solutions, and payroll and human resources outsourcing solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Are responsible for identifying, soliciting, and closing new Employee Benefits business
  • Utilize cold calls, prospecting emails, mail, professional associations, and networking to identify, contact, cultivate and close new business opportunities
  • Identify opportunities to bring all of World s solutions to our clients - beyond employee benefits
  • Identify exposures, make recommendations, and create custom programs to eliminate gaps in coverage
  • Identify opportunities to round out accounts for existing clients
  • Drive account retention and maintain client relationships through renewal workflows

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years+ of experience working in an insurance brokerage or carrier
  • Personable and highly motivated to grow personal success
  • Excellent listening skills with a strong customer focus, sustained sense of urgency, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Consultative with a positive and resourceful approach to dealing with prospective clients and colleagues
  • Experience with Employee Benefits and Sales software platforms such as Benefit Point and CRMs like Hub Spot
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of interaction with team members
  • Demonstrated teamwork, motivation, positive behavior, and effort to achieve goals
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities with minimal supervision
  • Discretion handling sensitive information

Compensation

Base salary plus commissions with a full suite of employee benefits, including a 401(k) match that is immediately fully vested. Base salary range is $80,000 to $200,000+ depending on experience and ability to drive revenue, with potential for substantial growth as the book of business grows.
