We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Sustaining Engineer to support and improve our existing product lines, primarily gas combustion heating systems
. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in combustion systems and a strong understanding of industry standards relevant to the heating sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership for sustaining engineering activities on gas combustion heating systems.
  • Investigate and resolve complex product issues, ensuring reliability and compliance with safety standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for existing products, including cost reduction and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, manufacturing, quality, and service) to implement engineering changes.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable standards and regulations within the heating industry.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for field and production issues.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
Required Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Experience:

    Minimum 8 years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years in combustion systems.
  • Proven track record in sustaining engineering for complex mechanical/electromechanical products.
  • Working knowledge of industry standards and regulations relevant to heating systems (e.g., ANSI, CSA, UL standards).
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with gas combustion system design and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with safety certification processes and compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and cost optimization strategies.
  • Knowledge of Heat Pump and/or Refrigeration systems.
  • Knowledge of PLC programming.
