Achieving Stars Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism, by providing in-home and community based ABA services. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those you work with.
PayRange
- Base pay: $19.00/hr - $26.00/hr
- Actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.
- Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Collect data on client behavior during sessions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of care plans.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through educational workshops, professional publications, networks, and societies.
- Utilize ABA techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism.
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality of medical records.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
- Expected hours: 12 per week with potential to increase.
- Schedule:
Monday to Friday. - Location:
In person, Union, New Hampshire (Required). - Willingness to travel: 100% (Required).
