Behavior Technician; RBT

Achieving Stars Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism, by providing in-home and community based ABA services. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those you work with.

• Base pay: $19.00/hr - $26.00/hr
• Actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

• Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Collect data on client behavior during sessions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of care plans.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge through educational workshops, professional publications, networks, and societies.
• Utilize ABA techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination.

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism.
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality of medical records.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum age 18 years.
