Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) – Full Time & Part Time

Compass Healthcare is hiring a patient dining associate to work at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NH (11 Whitehall Road). This role supports patient nutrition and dining services on assigned units. Open positions for both full‑time and part‑time schedules (6:00 am – 2:30 pm, weekdays and weekends). Pay range $19.00–$22.00 per hour.

Patient dining associates help patients make menu selections, assemble, deliver, and pick up meal trays while ensuring accuracy and quality. They collaborate with nursing and culinary staff to meet each patient’s dietary requirements and maintain food safety and regulatory compliance.

• Assist patients in understanding menu selections and coordinating with nursing staff to ensure compliance with nutritional restrictions.
• Collaborate with caregivers and culinary staff to identify menu alternatives for patients with allergies, sensitivities, cultural or religious preferences, or additional requests.
• Manage tray tickets, assemble meals accurately and on time, and retrieve trays from patient rooms at scheduled times.
• Follow federal, state, JCAHO, and local health and sanitation regulations including HIPAA and HACCP guidelines.
• Maintain infection control policies and sanitation procedures throughout the dining area.
• Assist dietitians in monitoring patients who cannot eat orally, are on liquid diets, or have specific calorie counts.
• Communicate patient concerns or issues promptly to appropriate personnel following department procedures.
• Complete all required daily, weekly, or monthly reports per Morrison Healthcare policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Ability to lift or move up to 100 pounds and operate food delivery carts.
• At least four years of food service and healthcare experience.
