Hiring immediately for CNC Machine Operators to run a variety of CNC equipment in our production shops in New Hampshire.
Available shifts- Rochester (milling)
- M-TH 1st: 5:00 a – 3:30 p
- M-TH 2nd: 5:00 p – 3:30 a
- Rochester (turning)
- M-F 1st: 5:30 a – 1:45 p
- M-F 2nd: 1:30 p – 9:45 p
- M-F 3rd: 9:30 p – 5:45 a
- Newington (milling)
- M-TH 1st: 5:00 a – 3:30 p
- M-TH 2nd: 5:30 p – 3:30 a
- Independently load parts and operate a minimum of one type of CNC equipment.
- Complete all operational processes, checklists, control plans and procedures as required.
- Correctly identify and assemble cutting tools and tool holder assemblies based on existing process documentation.
- Learn and understand the difference between types of tool wear.
- Identify the correct start line in the program.
- Gain basic working/functional knowledge of M codes.
- Verify parts are machined properly, including surface finish conditions and missing features.
- Basic troubleshooting of the machine (with assistance) if there is an error code and escalating issues to the Lead or Supervisor.
- Complete all required inspection measurements as defined on quality control plans using hand tools, gauge pins, caliper, micrometer, and Micro-Hite measurement tools. Load and run equator, read CMM reports, and adjust parts.
- High school diploma or GED, or related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to set the tool to the correct tool height with assistance from others.
- Typically requires 90 days as a CNC Trainee and / or one (1) year of demonstrated CNC Machine Operator experience.
- Basic computer and math skills are required.
