To support our continued growth, we are looking for an energetic individual to serve as an Electro-Mechanical Technician
. The individual we are seeking must enjoy problem solving and rarely building the same machine twice. The company needs a hands-on, assertive individual that is self‑motivated, pursuing personnel development and growth, who is willing to share knowledge and enhance the capabilities of co‑workers and the company alike.

Job Description Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician with exceptional electrical aptitude and advanced troubleshooting capabilities. This individual demonstrates strong problem‑solving skills and can quickly interpret complex technical documents, schematics, and specifications. With a proven ability to diagnose and resolve intricate electro‑mechanical issues, this technician is well‑positioned to transition into a lead builder role, contributing to team leadership and process optimization.

Ideal candidates will bring a proactive mindset, technical versatility, and a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

Position Responsibilities
  • Perform assembly, installation, and testing of electro‑mechanical systems and components.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in production and prototype equipment.
  • Read and interpret complex schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve build processes and resolve technical challenges.
  • Maintain and calibrate tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Document work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and modifications.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process optimization.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians as needed.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Build and troubleshoot single and three‑phase electrical systems
  • Diagnose, dismantles, repairs, and reassembles complex equipment.
  • Familiar with lean manufacturing concepts
  • Solid Works experience is beneficial
Position Tasks
  • Assembling electronic and mechanical parts/assemblies on new equipment. Troubleshoot as needed.
  • Builds and troubleshoots, as needed, AC and DC panels.
  • Field wire complex machines that are used in multiple industries
  • Participate in improving the work instructions used by manufacturing.
  • Train personnel in the use of test equipment, as needed.
  • Read dials or digital displays that indicate electronic characteristics such as voltage, frequency, distortion, inductance, and capacitance.
  • Compare test results with specifications and make a judgment as to acceptability of a product’s performance.
