Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehab position on night shifts, requiring a NH or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent rehab experience.

• Position located in an inpatient rehabilitation unit
• Night shift schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Patient population consists of rehabilitation cases
• No local candidates accepted due to a 50-mile radius rule
• Duties include providing direct patient care, administering medications, coordinating rehabilitation therapies, and collaborating with the healthcare team
• Must adhere to the rehab unit’s standards of care and facility protocols
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records as required by the unit
• Compliance with facility’s vaccination and onboarding requirements is necessary
• Applicants must not live within 50 miles of the facility

• Active NH or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in inpatient rehab nursing
• Current AHA or ARC BLS certification required that will not expire within the first 30 days of assignment
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• Professional reference required per state guidelines (two for FL or MO, one for all other states)
