Position Summary:
The Level II RT Technician is responsible for performing radiographic testing using gamma sources and interpreting film to identify defects or discontinuities in accordance with applicable standards and customer requirements. This role supports local inspection activities in Rochester, NH and requires the ability to work independently while maintaining compliance with safety and quality procedures.
Responsibilities:- Perform radiographic examinations using gamma radiography equipment
- Interpret film to identify and evaluate weld quality, defects, and discontinuities
- Ensure all inspections are conducted in accordance with established procedures and industry codes
- Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records
- Follow all safety protocols related to radiation use and field operations
- Support daily inspection operations as assigned
- Level II RT certification required
- Proven experience with gamma radiography
- Proficiency in film interpretation
- Ability to work full time on local assignments in Rochester, NH
- Commitment to safety, quality, and professional conduct
