Management Company Accountant

A New York-based principal investment firm specializing in consumer and business services is seeking a Management Company Accountant to manage day-to-day transaction processing for the management company.

• Intake, code, and stage all vendor invoices for final approval; maintain supporting documentation and W-9 files
• Perform callback verification on new or changed vendor payment instructions
• Set up approved payments and initiate wires in the banking platform
• Maintain the firm's vendor master in Ramp, including payment details and 1099 tax classifications
• Perform first-line review of employee expenses and follow up on incomplete documentation
• Post prepared journal entries accurately and within deadlines
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations across the firm's bank accounts
• Serve as the day-to-day administrator for Ramp and manage daily transaction processing in Net Suite

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping or staff accountant experience
• Exposure to PE management company accounting or multi-entity environments preferred
• Experience with Net Suite, Ramp, Quick Books, or Concur is a plus
• Strong Excel skills
• CPA or progress toward certification is an asset, though not required

Salary: $110,000 - $150,000, Plus Bonus
