Accounting Associate

Tess Gilmore with Robert Half is looking for an Accounting Associate to join her growing client's team! This role will support day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation activities. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and assist with accounts payable functions.
• Generate customer invoices and support accounts receivable activities.
• Enter and maintain accounting data with a high level of accuracy.
• Assist with bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
• Support month-end closing processes and journal entry preparation.
• Maintain vendor, customer, and financial records.
• Review and process employee expense reports.
• Assist with inventory and manufacturing cost tracking.
• Prepare reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
• Research and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies.
• Support internal and external audit requests.
• Provide administrative support to the accounting and finance team as needed.
• Collaborate with purchasing, operations, and production departments to ensure accurate financial information.
