Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our team in the Construction industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in our financial department, providing crucial support to our operations and contributing to our financial strategy. The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting team, reviewing financial statements, managing inventory accounting, and ensuring the accuracy of financial reports. This is a permanent, full-time position.

• Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
• Prepare and analyze aging reports, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
• Manage inventory accounting and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Oversee HVAC MEP and labor trends, providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
• Lead the year-end close process, ensuring all financial statements are accurate and complete.
• Train and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Use Sage Intacct or equivalent software to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial strategies align with the company's overall goals.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting supervisory role, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in Sage Intacct or equivalent accounting software is required.
• Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, HVAC MEP, and labor trends.
• Experience in preparing and analyzing aging reports, P&L statements, and other financial reports.
• Proven experience in leading the year-end close process and preparing financial statements.
• Excellent leadership skills, with a track record of training and developing a high-performing accounting team.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insightful recommendations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• High level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
