Tax Semi-Senior

Rochester | Hybrid Working | Full-Time or Part-Time Considered Pro Tax is recruiting for a growing accountancy practice seeking a Tax Semi-Senior to join its established tax team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ATT-qualified tax professional looking to develop their career within a supportive environment, working with a varied portfolio of private clients and owner-managed businesses across both compliance and advisory work.

• Manage a portfolio of personal tax and owner-managed business clients
• Prepare and review Self Assessment and Corporation Tax returns
• Ensure client deadlines are met and work is delivered to a high standard
• Liaise with clients, HMRC and internal teams
• Identify tax planning opportunities and technical issues
• Support senior colleagues with advisory projects across a range of taxes

• ATT qualified preferred
• ACA or ACCA studier can also be considered
• Approximately 5 years' practice-based tax and/or accounting experience
• Good UK tax knowledge
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Experience with tax software and Microsoft Office would be advantageous
