Senior Reinsurance Accounting

• Prepare and maintain reinsurance accounting records for facultative and treaty business.
• Review and reconcile ceded premium, loss, LAE, commission, and recoverable balances.
  
  - Analyze aged balances and resolve reconciling items.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Monitor recoverables and aging reports.
• Prepare and submit facultative billings and collection follow-up.
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain supporting documentation.
• Support audits, compliance, SOX, and internal controls.
• Review reinsurance contracts and ensure proper accounting treatment.
• Lead process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Train and mentor junior accountants and offshore resources.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• CPA or insurance designation preferred.

Timely financial close, reduction of aged recoverables, accurate billing and collections, strong audit compliance, and continuous process improvement.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience:
  
  3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in insurance or reinsurance accounting.
• Skills:
  
  Advanced Excel skills, strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, communication skills, and experience with financial reporting and reconciliations.
