• Guidance & Relationship Building:
  Develop and maintain a positive relationship with all of the children and their families; effectively guide the children’s behavior in an age-appropriate manner; meet the physical, social, cognitive, emotional and cultural needs of individual children.
• Development:
  Assist the teacher in providing a developmentally appropriate program for all of the children while fostering an environment that supports their growth.
• Safety & Oversight:
  Ensure the safety of the children and promote healthy habits; work with colleagues and community representatives to support children and families.

• High school diploma or equivalent OR one (1) year of experience working with children less than 13 years.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Demonstrated patience and compassion.

M - Medium Work:
Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
