Schedule: Monday to Friday – 6:30 am to 3:00 pm or 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Salary Range: $16.25 – $18.43 per hour

• Assists the teacher in providing a developmentally appropriate program for all of the children.
• Assists in creating an environment that supports children's growth and development.
• Develops and maintains a positive relationship with all of the children and their families.
• Effectively guides children's behavior in an age‑appropriate and positive manner.
  
  Constructively participates in staff meetings and attends meetings with supervisor.
• Meets the physical, social, cognitive, emotional, and cultural needs of individual children.
• Attends a minimum of 15 hours of training every year.
• Communicates appropriately with families regarding children's daily activities both verbally and written as needed.
• Ensures the safety of the children and promotes good health habits.
• Works toward achievement of classroom’s annual goals.
• Works with colleagues and community representatives to support children and families.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Demonstrated patience and compassion.

• High school diploma or equivalent OR
• One (1) year of experience working with children less than 13 years.
