Location : Central New York, specifically in the Syracuse / Rochester area to start, with potential for work from Buffalo to Long Island.

This is a Direct-Hire hire position here in CNY. A company vehicle provided.

We are seeking a Wireless Construction Manager / Project Manager to oversee and manage the construction schedules, expenses, quality, and safety of our client's projects. This role involves leading a diverse team of direct reporting staff, matrix staff, and vendor / subcontractor resources.

In a nutshell : You'll be involved in putting pricing together, understanding the scope of work, building towers, securing resources, managing vendors / contractors, and reporting directly to the end client.

You'll be the "Go to" person in this market so the ability to get things done with minimum supervision is required. You will manage the construction activities and develop BOMs, review Construction Drawings (CDs) and RFDS, as well as manage field operations and subcontractors. In addition to completing closeouts and additional reporting.

Previous T-Mobile and Tower Company experience is a huge plus.

Role :

Safety Management : Enforce the company's safety program, review daily job site safety plans, and halt unsafe work practices or conditions.

On-Site Analysis : Provide on-site analysis for ongoing construction projects and consult with higher-level construction managers or project managers for plan adjustments.

Construction & Material Management :
Possess a thorough understanding of Construction and Material / BOM Management and collaborate with multiple departments.

Client & Engineering Interface :
Liaise with the client's engineering team and leverage the company's engineering and management team for decision-making.

Progress Tracking : Schedule, track, measure, and report daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly progress to key stakeholders.

Quality Assurance : Implement the quality program for all work, ensuring all quality standards meet customer specifications.

What will catch our eye :

Minimum of 5 years of construction management experience, with a focus on wireless construction.

Knowledge of building towers, particularly monopole towers

Understanding of T-Mobile specifications and software (magenta).

Familiarity with matrix pricing management.

Experience with new site builds - NSB. (raw land to new tower builds).

Ability to manage carrier adds, antenna crews, and potential tower modifications.

Leadership qualities. Resourcefulness. Ability to manage vendors / contractors, Strong work ethic / drive. Reliability, trustworthiness, and the ability to act autonomously.

Valid driver's license.

A willingness to travel extensively within the market
