About the Role: Provide construction inspection services on federal projects ranging from tens to hundreds of millions of dollars. Manage site observation, reporting, and administrative support on multiple assigned projects to government personnel, ensuring compliance with contract provisions and quality assurance standards.
Responsibilities- Provide construction inspection services for several simultaneous federal projects.
- Maintain site observation and reporting for multiple projects to government personnel.
- Provide technical and administrative support to project teams.
- Oversee construction, contract administration, and quality assurance activities in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Analyze design and construction issues relative to contract requirements.
- Deliver recommendations to government personnel regarding compliance with contract provisions.
- Review and interpret plans, specifications, submittals, reports, schedules, modifications, cost estimates, pay applications, change orders, and claims.
- Prepare field surveillance and daily detailed reports covering safety, cost, and engineering considerations.
- Participate in pre‑construction conferences with government personnel.
- Apply knowledge of industrial/laboratory building electrical systems, including low‑voltage, high‑voltage, building automation, and data center systems.
- Minimum of 10 years of construction inspection experience.
- Experience with large federal projects (≥$100 million).
- Experience in large building electrical systems, especially low‑voltage systems.
- Familiarity with RMS 3.0 preferred.
- Engineering degree, RCDD, and/or a registered P.E. in electrical systems is a plus.
- Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) or other federal project experience preferred.
- US citizenship and ability to pass a federal background review and drug screen.
