Estimator, Construction, Civil Engineering

We are looking for an Estimator experienced in Cabinetry and Countertops to accurately management and estimate materials, labor, and other related expenses for commercial projects. As the Estimator you will be responsible for collaborating closely with clients, architects, contractors, and various departments to understand project specifications and objectives. The ideal candidate will have a meticulous approach to working with numbers and data, ensuring no detail is overlooked in complex construction documents.

Job Type: Full Time, On-site

• Analyze architectural and structural drawings, blueprints, and specifications to identify scope work and complexity of the project.
• Prepare accurate take-offs and material lists from drawings and specifications.
• Effective communication and attention to detail are essential to ensure the successful completion of projects in a timely manner and satisfied customers every time.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery of materials and services.
• Collaborate with the designers and sales teams to prepare drawings, proposals and bids for potential projects and approvals.
• Review project plans and contracts to ensure all requirements are understood and included in the estimate.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of estimates, bids, and contracts.

• 3+ years of Estimating experience with Residential and/or Commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of millwork, building materials, building codes and regulations
• Experience using takeoff software to scale and analyze plans.
• Proficient with reading and interpreting construction documents, including architectural plans, interior design plans, specifications, schedules, and addendums.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage a structured workload.
