Overview

The Creative Lead is responsible for driving the visual identity and creative strategy of OX Group’s brands across all platforms in North America. This role blends visionary leadership with hands-on design expertise, ensuring that all creative output aligns with brand standards, engages target audiences, and supports business objectives. The Creative Lead will oversee concept development, campaign execution, design production, and content creation while also contributing directly to graphic creation when needed.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities
  • Interpret and apply global brand standards to all creative output, ensuring consistency and compliance.
  • Develop localized creative concepts that align with global brand identity while resonating with regional audiences.
Campaign Development & Execution
  • Lead the creative process for regional marketing campaigns, adapting assets where needed.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure campaigns are visually compelling and strategically aligned.
Graphic Design Production
  • Personally create high-quality graphics for digital, print, and event-based initiatives.
  • Ensure all designs meet brand standards, project requirements, and deadlines.
Content Direction & Management
  • Provide creative direction for photo and video shoots, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and campaign goals.
  • Manage content creators, overseeing production timelines, briefs, and final deliverables.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver cohesive creative solutions.
  • Provide design support and guidance to other departments as needed.
Project & Workflow Management
  • Oversee multiple creative projects from concept to completion, managing timelines and priorities effectively.
  • Implement efficient workflows for asset creation, review, and delivery.
  • Evaluate creative work for clarity, impact, and alignment with brand standards and campaign objectives.
  • Provide actionable feedback to improve design quality and ensure final deliverables meet expectation.
Creative Problem Solving
  • Offer innovative design solutions within the constraints of established brand parameters.
  • Adapt creative approaches to meet evolving business needs and audience expectations.
Stakeholder Communication
  • Present creative concepts and deliverables to internal stakeholders with clarity and professionalism.
  • Incorporate feedback constructively to refine and improve creative output.
Trend Awareness & Design Evolution
  • Stay informed on design trends and tools to enhance creative execution within brand boundaries.
  • Recommend updates to regional creative practices that align with global standards and market shifts.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a creative leadership role within an agency or in-house team.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing both strategic creative direction and hands-on graphic design work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other design tools.
  • Deep understanding of branding, typography, layout, and visual storytelling.
  • Experience managing and mentoring creative teams or freelancers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to balance creative vision with business objectives.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels and content formats.
  • Passion for design, innovation, and continuous learning.
