Position Overview
The Department of Imaging Sciences at the University of Rochester (URMC) in Rochester, NY, is seeking a dedicated radiologist to join the abdominal imaging division.
Abdominal imaging faculty perform CT/MRI/US/ and Abdominal Fluoroscopy. The division presently consists of 13 faculty members supported by licensed professional extenders and a dedicated radiology communication center.
We provide diagnostic imaging and teaching at the primary medical center and collaborate with superb clinical colleagues. Biopsies and other invasive procedures are performed by a separate interventional division. Overnight coverage is provided by a separate emergency radiology division.
Requirements include A certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology and fellowship training or equivalent experience in abdominal imaging. Candidates should have or be eligible to obtain a New York State Medical License.
Compensation and BenefitsCompensation and benefit packages are highly competitive, including 403B and 457 plans, disability insurance, and tuition benefits. As a non‑profit institution, service time may count toward the public service federal loan forgiveness program. Faculty enjoy competitive combined vacation and conference time each year. The department has maintained an average of one day per week of dedicated academic/administrative time to allow for professional development.
Annual Salary $453,900 - $494,700. Additional Compensation in form of clinical and non‑clinical incentives.
