Locum MD; Medical Doctor Anesthesiology

This contract position is an excellent opportunity for an Associate-level physician to provide critical care in a fast-paced, on-site environment

As a Locum MD in Anesthesiology, you will play a vital role in delivering safe and effective anesthetic care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the healthcare facilities we support, ensuring high standards of patient safety and quality care.

• Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical and medical procedures
• Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia to ensure their safety
• Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and assess patient histories
• Collaborate with surgical teams to develop and implement anesthesia care plans
• Manage pain relief and sedation during and after procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Adhere to safety protocols and standards in all procedures
• Provide education to patients and families regarding anesthesia procedures and risks

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of New York
• Completion of an Anesthesiology residency program
• Experience in a clinical setting as an Anesthesiologist (Associate level)
• Strong clinical skills and a thorough understanding of anesthesia techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to patient care and safety

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7a-5p

Cases:
Bread & butter; no OB

Must be able to work independently

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
