Chief/Division Director for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility

UR Medicine Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology

University of Rochester Medical Center and Strong Fertility Center

Work Here. Thrive Here. Celebrating 100 Years of Impact. The University of Rochester Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology (UR Medicine)—the Upstate New York region’s only academic health system—invites an innovative mission-driven physician leader to serve as Chief/Division Director for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI). The division has an active and growing clinical program with a strong academic portfolio as well as an ACGME accredited fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

The division has experienced outstanding growth with future plans of developing a new state of the ART IVF laboratory and clinical facility on the main campus of UR Medicine’s world-renowned academic medical center.

As Chief/Division Director, the candidate is expected to oversee our internationally recognized program which delivers comprehensive care for the region. Ideally, applicants should have demonstrated experience in leading teams and clinical operations in the practice of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. The Chief/Division Director will have responsibility for supervision and management of the REI faculty and staff, the clinical operations of the practice (IVF and non-IVF), the educational activities for learners at all levels, and research initiatives and NIH‑funded research programs (both translational and clinical).

Additional services include oocyte/embryo cryopreservation, oncofertility, LGBTQ+ family building, recurrent pregnancy loss, preimplantation genetic testing, and male fertility.
