We are seeking an experienced step coach to guide a team at Rochester Prep High School for the 25‑26 school year. - Research and identify appropriate competitions and tournaments.
- Sign up for competitions in partnership with the school‑based Student Talent Manager.
- Coach and travel with students to at least all competitions.
- Ideally, at least one competition should be recognized on a national level, with regional/district qualifiers leading to national competition.
- Chaperone students to at least two regional/local competitions that occur before the national competition.
- Maintain signed parent permission for after‑school commitment and confirm team members.
- In partnership with the Student Talent Manager, establish a family communication protocol to update families about competition, after‑school practices, and any other time outside of school that students will be doing club‑related activities.
Coaches will receive an annual stipend of $3,000–$6,000 based on experience and contracted hours per week, paid semi‑monthly.
If at any point during the year you stop performing these responsibilities before they are fully completed, for any reason, your stipend will be adjusted accordingly.
