Multiple Adjunct Positions - Mathematical & Computing Sciences
The Mathematical and Computing Sciences Department n Fisher College is seeking qualified adjunct instructors. Applicants should be enthusiastic about teaching undergraduates, willing to work with curriculum developed by the department, and generate excitement among students for the content of the material.
Job ResponsibilitiesAdjunct instructors will provide instruction in undergraduate courses, utilize department‑developed curriculum, assess student performance, and create a stimulating learning environment.
Qualifications- Holding a Master’s degree
- Significant experience, knowledge and skill in one or more of the following areas:
Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Cybersecurity
For certain courses, successful applicants may be expected to have expertise with particular software, such as R, Excel, or Access.
Compensation and BenefitsCompensation is provided on a per‑course basis at rates set by the college. Adjunct instructors will also have access to college facilities, be provided with instructional supplies, and be invited to department functions. Evening course assignments are sometimes available.
NoteFisher courses are typically 3 credits, equaling $3,501 per course.
