Salary: $44,000 per GTA Contract

Minimum Requirements- NYS Certification
- Valid New York State teaching certification appropriate to the grade level and assignment.
- Knowledge of curriculum, instructional practices, and assessment.
- Ability to differentiate instruction.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships and create a safe, inclusive classroom.
- Start by following provided lesson plans.
- Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate first-grade instruction.
- Build foundational literacy, mathematics, and social skills.
- Align lessons with state standards and district curriculum.
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual needs.
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom.
- Collaborate with families and colleagues to support student learning and growth.
