Position Summary/Responsibilities:

The Physical Education Teacher provides engaging, inclusive instruction that builds students' movement skills, confidence, cooperation, and lifelong interest in physical activity.

• Plan and teach lessons aligned with New York State standards and district curriculum.
• Adapt instruction to meet diverse student needs, including IEP and 504 supports.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming environment and teach responsible participation.
• Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback.
• Collaborate with staff and families and participate in professional learning.
• Manage equipment and fulfill assigned professional responsibilities.

This is a long term substitute position that will start on 1/29/27. We are unsure of the end date.
