Job Overview
We are looking for an energetic team member to join our growing Transmission and Distribution group as an Entry‑Level Engineer. The role involves working in a multi‑disciplinary team on both large‑ and small‑scale power delivery projects for national and local utility companies. Projects include design for overhead structures, foundations, underground electrical duct banks, conductor sizing, voltage conversions, and renewable integration for electric transmission and distribution facilities.
This is a full‑time position with a standard workweek of eight hours per day, Monday through Friday. Hybrid work schedules are available, with a minimum of two office days expected.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating professionally with coworkers, staff, project managers, and other disciplines.
- Assist in creating detailed construction drawings for both underground and overhead transmission and distribution lines based on client and industry standards.
- Perform site visits and inspections during design and construction phases to verify design intent and ensure installation complies with approved design.
- Coordinate with internal and external resources to develop detailed designs and attend regularly scheduled meetings to provide status updates on the design.
- Perform detailed calculations to support the design and create reports to clearly express those calculations.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college.
- 0–3 years of relevant experience in the power delivery industry.
- Passion for the power delivery industry and a desire to develop professionally.
- Understanding of how to read design drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Experience with SAP, PLS‑CADD, PLS Pole, PLS Tower, CYMCAP, or ASPEN is a plus.
- PE license not required, but pursuit of one is expected.

Salary Range: $55,000 – $65,000 per year
