Job Description:
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting equipment and systems
  • Performs engineering RF/analog/digital design and measurement tasks as well as operational tests and fault isolation on radio systems
  • Uses a variety of test and measurement equipment to evaluate radio equipment performance
  • Create test strategies and specifications for new and revised assemblies
  • Prepare test and diagnostic software, design test fixtures, complete test procedures for new and existing products
  • Develop, debug, optimize test software using National Instruments LabVIEW and Test Stand
  • Document test hardware and software using computer-based tools
  • Instruct technicians in the completion of test requirements as described above
  • Ensures production goals & metrics are met from a test perspective
Essential Functions:
  • Design, develop, and debug software applications for control/automation of test and measurement equipment using NI LabVIEW and Test Stand.
  • Support Delivery of new products to our manufacturing facility.
  • Fixture, cable, PCB design for automated manufacturing test fixtures.
  • Positive attitude, openness to new ideas, willingness to learn new tools.
  • US Citizenship.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional

Skills:
  • Experience in digital, analog, and RF circuitry design/troubleshoot.
  • Measurement of key performance parameters using analyzers, generators, oscilloscopes, and meters.
  • Understanding of software defined radio products and communications.
  • Expertise in evaluation of designs for testability;
    Working knowledge of the fundamentals of In-Circuit Test (ICT), functional board level testing, unit and system level testing, coverage analysis.
  • Must be a self-starter, and able to work successfully with minimal supervision.
  • NI LabVIEW/Test Stand development experience.
  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum development process.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York state is $79,000- $146,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3
