Join our Team as a Test Engineering Technical Specialist
. We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Test Engineering Technical Specialist who brings enthusiasm and expertise to the table. You’ll play a key role in supporting the development and testing of energy storage systems and the equipment used to operate them. You’ll collaborate with a diverse group of engineers to build, repair, and test both prototype and production systems. Your work will directly contribute to advancing our technology in a fast-paced and supportive environment.

- Set up test equipment and test articles safely and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to align test capabilities with evolving program needs.
- Assist in designing, building, and documenting new test equipment and procedures.
- Support prototype system builds to meet design specifications and deadlines.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with batteries, fuel cells, and related systems.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in electro-mechanical roles (e.g., build/repair, debugging, and system setup).
- Technical training via apprenticeship, trade school, or college program.
- Proficiency with computers and standard software such as MS Office; familiarity with data collection and analysis tools.
- Experience handling high-voltage/high-current equipment safely.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including electrical and mechanical schematics.
- A knack for building and troubleshooting complex systems—mechanical, electrical, or both.
- This is an in-person role located at our Rochester, New York office—ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.
- Wage: $27.52 - $35.29 per hour. Compensation depends on education and experience.
