This role performs technical civil engineering work for public infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities- Coordinating engineering design activities and preparing plans for construction projects.
- Performing preliminary survey data collection for the preparation of multiple projects.
- Maintaining design software and files.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Employees regularly communicate and collaborate with consultants, designers, contractors, sub‑contractors, property owners, utility companies, other departments, divisions and others involved in or affected by projects and are required to make independent decisions in resolving most problems but informing the supervisor of unusual or controversial problems.
