Key Responsibilities:- Manage communication from consumers and their representatives via inbound/outbound phone calls, email, and chat.
- Offer solutions to help consumers resolve their accounts through effective negotiation and listening skills.
- Maintain clear and cohesive notes and documentation related to all open and pending receivable balances being pursued.
- Excel in collections performance by exceeding goals and key performance indicators (KPI's)
- Adhere to expected quality and compliance standards within the collections industry
- High School Diploma or GED. College education is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience as a Collections Specialist or in roles that align such as phone sales, banking, financial services
- Skilled in de-escalating conversations and building trust
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills
- Customer-focused and adaptable to different personality types
- Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
- Great typing skills to be able to chat, email consumers professionally and quickly
- Knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel , Mac experience is a plus
